Gallery Patron

Oil on Canvas Panel 8" x 10"
SOLD
This lovely gallery patron happened to have been my companion recently on a trip to Annapolis, Maryland with our husbands. Annapolis is full of wonderful shops and art galleries. We took in quite a few and especially enjoyed the bakeries and coffee shops while we were there.

Doris,

From the intent stance of your daughter, to the paintings suggested on the wall, to her blue denim pants being a complement to the orange richness of the floor, you have painted a technically sound painting but one with oh-so-much warmth and charm. Wonderfully done.

I have enjoyed looking at your blog site. I think the way you compose your backgrounds - especially on the fruit and vegetable paintings - is lovely. I like the mix of colors and the visibility of the brush strokes. I'm glad that you enjoyed Annapolis - I was born there and just finished spending three weeks in Annapolis with my sister. Although I left there in 1973, it is my home town and I am sure to go there at least twice each year. It's a great place to paint!
