Hibiscus

11" x 14" Watercolor on 300 lb Cold Press Paper

I painted this using a photo reference that I shot one day on my way into my doctor's office last summer. They had a large pot of gorgeous hibiscus' plants on the sidewalk and I fortunately had my camera in the car. It was a beautiful, sunny day and the photo turned out great. This is my first venture into "pouring watercolor" and the style is quite different than what I usually do. It was fun! This is 11"x 14" on 300 lb cold press paper using my new Daniel Smith paints.
