One must use a totally different palette and hard lines are rarely effective on the soft, sweet face of an infant. I loved doing this painting...especially portraying the adorable pouty lip expression.

Well you certainly did a great job w/ this doll. Babies are really hard to make natural & lifelike. Most paintings I've seen tend to look like a DOLL. Great job.
There is a beautiful sweetness to this portrait. The baby is very lively and full of zest and curiosity. Beautiful work.
